I know, I know…it’s been a while since my last post. I’ve been busy trying to do life, but I’m back! Summer has been all about circuits for me. I teach a circuit based class once a week and it really kicks my butt. Sometimes we get caught up in just doing the same routines, same lifts, same old boring cardio that we’re use to. Circuits not only help me break up my routine, but I get a total body workout which is much more effective for me. By throwing these circuits in, I notice I’m having less injuries because I’m working different muscles during each session. Less repetitive movement, less injury! My runs are faster and my lifts are stronger. I will say, that some weeks I need more recovery if my circuits have a lot of plyometric moves. Circuits vary in time and rounds so I thought I would post a shorter cardio circuit. I usually finish with a few ab exercises. Enjoy 🙂
